There have been many interesting cultural and religious things going on around our town this last month because a very, very high Tibetan Buddhist leader has been in town visiting, speaking and giving blessings to the Tibetans who live here. This man is basically the 2nd highest Tibetan Buddhist religious leader in the world. So, TONS of people have come out for the different events. Here you can see one of the roads near the stupa, full of people and Buddhist flags waiting for the arrival of this religious leader.
