Pokhara Trip

Ryan and me one morning in Pokhara. It was really hot there but rained off and on throughout the weekend.

Ryan and Matt one morning at 'Mike's Breakfast'. We love Mike's. It is so relaxing, has good food and is right on the lake.

Here we are being cheezy in some cowboy hats!

We got to spend some time visiting refugee camps and spending time with Tibetan people. Here we are in a monastery at one of the refugee camps. The man with us is the highest lama at that particular monastery. We had a great conversation with him and they served us juice and crackers as we just sat and talked.

Isn't this goat huge? He is so tall and we saw him at one of the refugee camps. From a distance he looked like a small horse!

For the last few weeks we have been blessed to have one of our amazing friends from America visit us in Nepal. His name is Matt and many of you know him. It was so cool to have him here. He came with his school and so we got to hang out in his free time. Then when his school left he and his amazing friend Jennica stayed around a bit longer and traveled to Pokhara (a 5 hour micro bus ride) with us to hang out and visit refugee camps. We had such a great time together. We are so thankful that they got to come and spend time with us. They left a few days ago to go back to America and we miss them already!
