Definitely the best thing about being in America has been being able to be with family. It has been so incredibly refreshing to be together after so many months and years of being apart. There is something so comforting and special about spending time with those that know you so well and love you so much. So far, we have be able to spend a weekend with Ryan's parents and brother and then two weeks in Connecticut with my family and now after a few weeks of being on our own here in North Carolina we have been spending this weekend before Christmas with my family here in North Carolina. Monday we are leaving to spend two weeks in Charleston with Ryan's parents, brother, sister-in-law and our nieces. We are blessed. Today we had a wonderful Christmas celebration with my mom's family. For the first time in many, many years our entire family was together including my parents, my brother and his wife, my grandparents, my mother's only brother and his family, my three cousins, my cousins wife, my two second cousins and two dogs. It was a special time for us. Here are a few pictures from this weekend...We hope that wherever you are around the world that you have a wonderful Christmas celebrating the life of Jesus and reflecting on all that we have to be thankful for in our lives. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
