Back in Nepal...

We are back and settling in. We are thankful to be here. It has taken a few days for all of us to completely get over jet-lag but we are all starting to feel more like normal. This is a picture that was taken as we were driving around town yesterday. It is about 5 minutes from our house. It gives a good glimpse into what we see each day as we walk and drive around the city. Notice the buildings, cows, people in random places and trash.

Thank you to all of those who have prayed for our family during this transition. God has been so faithful to us and although there have been frustrating things here and there throughout the past week overall things have gone SO smoothly. The babies have adjusted so well and we are blessed.

About two nights ago, the babies were still struggling with jet-lag a bit. We had put them to bed around 7:30 pm and they woke up wide awake at 11 pm. We were already in bed so we decided to bring them in bed with us for a few minutes and see what they would do. Well, they just wanted to play and play so we just went with it. We had such a fun time playing, playing hide-and-go-seek under the sheets and giggling and tickling them. It was a really special time that I won't forget. It was a lot of fun. After about 30 minutes of playing with us they were ready to go back to sleep. They slept through the night after that.
