Keane and Gracie are precious beyond words. They add immeasurable joy to our lives. They of course have their moments where they "fight" over toys, push each other, bite each other (Gracie bites Keane these days and we are working on that...), and throw little mini-tantrums by lying on the floor or burying their heads in a pillow and crying but overall they are just the sweetest, most amazing two children in the world. I feel so blessed to get to be their mom. Just last week they turned 18 months old. They love to kiss and hug us and each other. They love to rock in their little plastic rocking chairs, they LOVE to read books and dance. They enjoy watching cartoons and watching 'praise baby' DVD's. They love to swim and play outside. They truly are best friends and love having each other around. Gracie is very concerned about her brother and always makes sure he has what he has. If I give her a cookie she will reach out her other hand and say 'baby' which means 'can I have one for Keane'? It is so cute. When I give her one she always runs right away to find him and says, 'baby, baby' as she holds it out to him. Keane loves to play with anything with wheels and has started enjoying playing with his cars and animals on the floor while he rolls them around. The loves to talk and although not much of what he says makes any sense but it is SO cute.
If we say 'Namaste' they will put their hands together (which is the Nepali greeting here) and if we say 'Tashi Delek' they will put their hand palm side up and greet the people (which is the Tibetan greeting) and if we say hi and bye they will wave and sometimes they actually say hi and bye too. The people here LOVE it!

Playing around...
Keane and Gracie sitting in one of our chairs. They love to climb in and out of the chairs and if one of them is doing it of course the other has to as well!
One of our amazing volunteers, Wes, holding Keane and Gracie. Wes went to the same college that Ryan and I went to: Charleston Southern University.
For Keane and Gracie's 18 month "birthday" we gave them a toy that we had brought from America and saved for them until now. They are chipmunk stuffed animals that move and purr and make chipmunk noises and motions. Keane and Gracie really love them.
Gracie playing with both of them.
