A few days after Christmas we had a Christmas party for our team here in Nepal (the ones who are here in Kathmandu). We have four amazing national brothers and their families on our team and then two other American families and two single girls...we are REALLY blessed. We wanted to treat our national friends to some traditional American Christmas food. So, we served a baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, potato casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls, apple pie and white chocolate bark (I probably forgot something..thanks everyone for making all this delicious food!). Everyone seemed to love it and the whole table was basically empty at the end...which was awesome! We played a few games with the kids, gave gifts and prayed together. It was a really special time. Unfortunately our team members that live in Pokhara were not there and our other teammate Bo was unable to be there because their families dog had just had puppies and one of our national partners was up in his village so he wasn't there but his family was!
This is one of our partners sons.
Our partner James.
Our friend Chippa in her traditional Tibetan dress called a 'chuba'.
Ryan and our partners and friends.
The ladies!
A picture of all of us who were able to be there that night...we are blessed!
