Ryan's 30th Birthday

It is crazy but Ryan, Keane, Gracie and my birthday all fall within one month. The birthday's start on February 21st with Keane and Gracie's birthday, then on to Ryan's birthday on March 12th and then on to my birthday on March 19th (not to mention Ryan's dad's birthday on March 17th, my Dad's on March 26th and my sister-in-laws on April 2nd). We refer to this month as our "birthday month". I think it will be especially fun (and probably expensive) when Keane and Gracie are really able to grasp the idea of celebrating our birthdays all month long. Since we had a REALLY great vacation in Thailand in February we decided against big gifts this year for our birthdays and enjoyed relaxing, fun days with our family to celebrate. For Ryan's birthday I made him a homemade (made from scratch) carrot cake. We also ate at one of our favorite local breakfast restaurants and spent the day out by the pool and on the bouncy castle that they often have at the hotel we are members of on Saturday. We had a great family day and a wonderful day celebrating Ryan's birthday!

At breakfast. It was such a beautiful day.

The restaurant is mostly outside and there are neat old things like this wheel all around it.

A cute little bridge by our table

On our walk from our house to the pool. I just think it is so funny that Ryan is walking on the road with Keane along with a cow and some Nepali people. Walking on the road right next to cows is just normal life here.

A cute little girl we pass everyday on our way to the market or the pool.

My precious boy enjoying the "bouncy castle". For the longest time K and G were afraid of these kinds of bouncy houses and would never go up them. Just recently they have gotten up the courage to go all the way to the top and they love it now.
