4th of July Party

Each year on the Saturday before July 4th the American Embassy has a 4th of July celebration for all Americans living in Nepal. It is such a blessing to be able to go to this event and be able to celebrate the blessing of America's freedom even while we are here so far away in Nepal. The event is usually really fun and includes different food choices (we had hamburgers this year), lots of  foods and drinks imported from America (for a price, of course), horses for the kids to ride, games for the kids to play, swimming in the pool, cotton candy, and balloons. It had been raining so much the week before the party that we were afraid that it was going to get rained out but thankfully it turned out to be a beautiful day for the most part (until the afternoon rain we got). God is good to us to provide fun events like this one for our family and friends to enjoy here in Nepal.
Keane and Gracie love these little kids rids that they have here. They are manual and you have to spin them around but they love them!

Fun swings

The big tent where the food was served. You can see the rain clouds coming.

Keane riding the horse. They had a BLAST and could have rode for hours.

YUM! Cotton candy. Their first cotton candy ever!
