Random pictures from around Kathmandu!

We have a little orange tree that we love so much! Ryan is so good about taking care of it and we actually have little oranges growing on it now! The other day we came upstairs and someone had eaten our biggest little orange off the tree---oh well!

This is how they cut the lawns here in Nepal---with scissors! This man diligently cuts the lawn and probable makes about $2 a day for his labor!

We saw this chipmunk on the side of the road where we were walking and had to take a picture! I guess it had died and the kids tied a string on it and used it as a toy! Poor thing!

Ryan was amazed at this huge fire fly that flew into our house one evening! He had to get the tape measure out and measure it! 1 in long!

Most people here use a toilet called a squatty potty which is low to the ground and that you literally squat over; well, if they come to a bathroom that has an American toilet then they usually just stand on top of it and squat! I had to laugh when I saw this picture in a local bathroom of a restaurant owned by a foreigner!
