Ryan's Bike Trip to the Tibet Border

Ryan got the awesome opportunity to drive motorcycles from Kathmandu to the border of Tibet/China a few weeks ago with some American friends who also live here! It is about 160 km one way {about miles} and because of the road conditions {not good and very windy around hills} it took them 4 hours each way!! They did it in one day and were so sore when they finally arrived back in Kathmandu! They had a great day together! These are some pictures from their trip: First of all, when they got to the border they saw this sign in a restaurant there: "Chinese liquid with Rice dishes" what on earth does that mean?? No one was interested in finding out what Chinese Liquid was!

The river at the border of Tibet and Nepal

Ryan and the guys he got to go with! They said it was freezing cold and it rained on them most of the way but they still managed to jump in the freezing cold river just for fun!

A mountain village along the way

A large fruit that grows here in Nepal and China called a Pomello, it is kind of like a grapefruit but grows wild a lot!
