Yesterday we had such a fun family day in Bangkok. Keane and Gracie had such good attitudes all day long and really seemed to enjoy the day too. It started with breakfast at our hotel, swimming in our hotel pool and a long morning nap for Keane and Gracie. After they woke up we went to our favorite mall here in Bangkok, The Siam Paragon, and had lunch. One of the fun things about being in Thailand (compared to Nepal) is the convenience of food. The mall has this great food court so each of us got what we wanted (Ryan: Thai food, Kristin: Subway and Keane and Gracie: McDonald's). We sat at McDonald's to eat because they were the only restaurant with high chairs. When I ordered Keane and Gracie's food I asked for a cup of water with it and they gave us this MINI cup. This picture really doesn't capture how small it was. It was like a Dixie cup you use in the bathroom when you brush your teeth. I asked if I could have a different cup and they said no unless I wanted to pay the full price. We declined and took the small cup.

They LOVED their cheeseburger. They ate the WHOLE thing! They have both just recently learned to 'dip' their fries and other food into ketchup and they love it now. They always want ketchup and they do such a good job at just dipping in one side and eating it off.
After that we went to our favorite grocery store in Bangkok which is also in the same mall. The store is BEAUTIFUL and all of the fruit is set out so nicely. It is a gourmet store so everything is pretty expensive but almost anything you need is there!
Keane having fun with daddy. We carried Keane and Gracie around all day in the baby bjourns. I think they had more fun because of it but our backs were really hurting at the end of the day. It is sad to think they are almost too big to be carried everywhere. We love to carry them.
After that we went to the aquarium that is in the basement of the same mall. It is the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia. It is really neat. Keane and Gracie of course loved seeing all of the fish.

And they even had this really neat play area with a ball pit. They thought it was so cool.
We then went to the department store in the mall called the Paragon to get a few things we can't get in Nepal. Keane found this chair that was just his size and he had to sit in it! After that we met up with some American friends who live in Nepal with us who are also in Thailand now at 'Outback Steakhouse' for dinner. It doesn't taste exactly the same as America but it was DELICIOUS! We are thankful for such a fun day to spend together!
