In Thailand there is a lot of great stuff and there are so many nice things available but it is still not America and there are funny things (especially signs) everywhere. While we were there for meetings and vacation we tried to take photos of many of the silly things we saw. We hope you enjoy...
(above: the bottom right sign says, "Gatorrad" instead of Gatorade
We thought this was SO funny. It is a little mini-mart in the domestic airport and you can buy a shot of alcohol with your mentos. Isn't that illegal in America?
They have 'Dunkin Donuts' in Thailand which we LOVE because we don't have it in Nepal but you would think that someone at the Dunkin Donuts headquarters would proof read their English signs around the world..."Iced Lamon Tea"
And here is a picture of some of their donuts. I thought the name on the chocolate one was crazy! "Oh my choco god" Can you say that? Crazy!
This was at another mini-mart. I have NO IDEA what is means. It made us laugh.
Is this for real? Who wants to get their hair cut at a place called "Cat Hair Design"? Is there anyone that wants their hair to look like a cat's hair? I love the photos to the left of the sign too showing the girls and guys hair.
I laughed SO hard at this one. We were shopping for some toys for Keane and Gracie at a store "similar" to K-mart (just a Thai version) and we saw this box (see what is in the box in the pic below). The English is HILARIOUS! "This product is interesting and you will never be wearily." What??
This is what is interesting and will never make you wearily: "Happy Madppet". You have got to love it.
A sign at a really nice grocery store in Bangkok.
