One of our partners at the Lazy Gringo worked really hard to put together a Cinco de Mayo party for us and our guests. On the 5th of May we were unable to have the party because of the political protests going on in Kathmandu so we rescheduled it for May 15th instead! Unfortunately Ryan was sick but I was able to go and help out. The night before two of my friend's daughters spent the night. We had a great time playing games, watching American Idol and eating at Pizza Hut. Katie is with me in the above picture. We are enjoying a virgin green apple margarita...one of the few special drinks served that day...everyone loved them. You can't find a drink like that anywhere else in Nepal. So fun!
