Our first family movie: in 3D

When we were in Thailand we wanted to take Keane and Gracie to see their first movie in a theater. We weren't sure how it was going to go but we thought that it would be fun and worth a try. When we got to the theater the only kids movie that was playing was "Despicable Me" in 3D. We weren't sure how Keane and Gracie would do at all (as I mentioned before) and we certainly weren't sure how 2 1/2 year olds would do with having to keep glasses on the whole movie while seeing the images pop out at them but we decided to give it a try (thankfully they let us hold Keane and Gracie on our laps and didn't charge us for them...just in case they didn't like it!) To our wonderful surprise they LOVED the movie and kept the glasses on 95% of the time. The glasses were a little big so we had to help hold them so they would stay on but it worked great and they sat quietly through the whole thing. They loved it. It was a cute movie and what I hope is the first of many, many more fun family movies together!
