Grateful: Thank you Summit Church!

We are so blessed to have such an amazing home church. Check them out here. Our church does so much to provide for us in so many ways. We feel so encouraged by their leadership, friendship and generosity. There are a few small groups who have specifically adopted our family and who pray regularly for us, write us encouraging notes and emails and send us some amazing gifts. We just wanted to say THANK YOU to those special people who have given....you know who you are. It really is hard to explain how some of the simplest things bring such big smiles to our faces. Things like goldfish, cheez-its, chocolate chips, scented candles, crystal light, Easter candy, special toys and books for our kids, etc that we can't get here and often miss so badly, but they do. We open the suitcase and not only feel super encouraged that people around the world are thinking of us but there is just something so comforting about being able to enjoy some of our favorite things from America. The Summit church small groups went above and beyond in all of the goodies they sent. One small group even got together and bought us a brand new Kindle....what? seriously? We NEVER expected that and certainly don't deserve any of it. But God is so good to give good gifts to His children. It is our prayer that God will continually bless our friends at the Summit church abundantly for their generous, sacrificial giving. As I write this my kids are eating a delicious after nap snack of Cheez-its and Easter candy (not very healthy but certainly YUMMY and a treat!).
