Around the house...

Keane and Gracie are growing bigger by the day (sometimes even the hour) it seems! They are full of energy and LOVE to play! A lot of my day is spent entertaining them and finding places that they can play and run around. They are such a joy to have in our lives. Gracie now has 4 molars that have all almost come in. She is such a trooper with getting all those teeth. (I included the picture above even though Gracie has such a stinky face in it because I thought you might be able to see some of her teeth...) Keane still seems to have all of the hair. He has some teeth but we are still waiting on the molars. They love to dance when music comes on and they are surprising me with all of the different foods they eat and enjoy. They have started to want to feed themselves with their own spoons which definitely makes things messy but it is so fun and so cute. They can still only get about 10% in their mouths when using their own spoon so I still feed them too. Just 4 days ago they stopped using bottles (they were down to just one bottle a day before they went to bed) and are completely on sippy cups and regular cups. The transition was SUPER easy...I guess they were just ready. They seem to love to be able to hold their own sippy cup. They still get a big cup of milk in the morning and evening before bed and they love it. They are really growing quickly and it is so bittersweet.

They can now climb onto chairs and the couch all by themselves and they LOVE it. They get into the chair together (because if one does it the other HAS to do it of course) and just sit there and laugh. They like to sit in the chair to watch cartoons too.

They love everything that they are not really supposed to play with...including my sunglasses. Ryan helped them put them on but they sure loved playing with them.

They were so big for Gracie's face. She had to smirk just to keep them from falling off.
Keane playing with his toys one morning.
Ryan set up these "chairs" fir them out of pillows and Keane LOVED it. He tends to be more laid back anyway. Gracie couldn't relax in it and was a little fussy. Ryan joked that it is exactly like us. He will be relaxing at the end of the day and I will just be asking him all kinds of questions and not let him relax. It was funny to watch them.
Gracie had enough of the "chair". Keane still loved it.
The other day one of our national friends came over and brought his two boys. Keane and Gracie had a lot of fun playing with them.
